Collette grew up in historic York, in the county of North Yorkshire, England. She attended York College for Cosmetology and achieved straight A’s in all aspects. Her career began in London with an international hair company with locations in Paris and New York. 
To further develop her expertise, Collette studied at York College and became a certified teacher in the hair industry including science, communication, art history and business. At this time, she opened her first salon.

 
While her career path took a short, but interesting diversion as a flight attendant with Virgin Atlantic, she missed the interaction with regular clientele and the feeling of making them feel the best about themselves. 
After moving to the United States, Collette has worked at salons in Charleston and Kiawah Island to the present day. She loves the people and weather of South Carolina and is thrilled to settle in to her new salon.
